At recent international climate conferences, including COP 28 in Dubai and events in Baku, Ethiopia has showcased its achievements in tackling climate change.
Minister of Planning and Development, Fistum Assefa, emphasized the country's progress in areas like food security, green development, and implementing agreements made at COP 28.
Development partners, including the UNDP, have praised Ethiopia's proactive approach, highlighting its ambitious plans to expand forest cover in underserved areas and transition to 100% renewable energy.
Mathias Nab, Director of the UNDP, commended Ethiopia for its commitment to climate action, stating that the country consistently delivers on its promises.
