Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has just arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend the inaugural Saudi-Africa Summit.
The summit aims to strengthen ties and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and African countries.
This historic event marks the first time Saudi Arabia is hosting a summit focused on enhancing its comprehensive partnership with Africa.
The meeting is expected to boost collaboration in key areas including science, education, economy, culture and more.
Political analysts say Saudi Arabia has been actively working to build stronger bilateral and multilateral relations with African countries, more than ever before.
Alongside the summit, the Saudi-African Youth Forum will also take place, where 25 young delegates from both sides will hold discussions.
The Saudi Misk Foundation noted that the forum will allow African youth delegates to enhance their international competencies in the field of science.
