Ethiopia, Rwanda Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Ethiopia and Rwanda have pledged to strengthen bilateral ties during a meeting in Addis Ababa between Adem Farah, head of Ethiopia's Coordination Center for Democracy System Building and Prosperity Party Vice President, and Rwandan Ambassador Charles Karamba.

Adem and Ambassador Karamba engaged in comprehensive discussions, spotlighting Ethiopia’s notable advancements in key development sectors.

These included the strategic corridor development initiatives, the ambitious Green Legacy project, the ongoing construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), and strides made in enhancing food security.

Adem emphasized that these achievements are a testament to the Prosperity Party’s commitment to fulfilling the promises made during its first regular conference, while also outlining continued progress expected from the party's second regular session.

Ambassador Karamba, acknowledging Ethiopia’s efforts, expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the upcoming Prosperity Party Session.

He confirmed that a delegation from Rwanda’s ruling party, the RPF, will attend, further solidifying the collaborative spirit between the two nations.

The two sides also indicated plans for further bilateral talks aimed at deepening the already robust relationship between Ethiopia and Rwanda, demonstrating a mutual desire for continued cooperation and progress.
