Ethiopia has been selected to host the prestigious the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) 2027 World Congress with consideration of Africa's Growing Role in Global Logistics.
The decision to select Ethiopia marks a historic milestone for both Ethiopia and the African continent and indicates a turn of a new century in FIATA’s history. The event is expected to draw over 800 industry experts, leaders, and stakeholders from around the world.
Speaking on the significance of the event to be held in Addis, EFFSAA President Dawit Woubishet said "This is not only a source of immense pride for Ethiopia but for Africa as a whole. We are honored and thrilled to have been given this extraordinary opportunity to host such a globally recognized event. The 2027 FIATA World Congress will be held in Addis Ababa, a city known for its rich culture, dynamic growth, and pivotal role in regional and international diplomacy."
