People in hundreds of thousands are flocking to Bishoftu town, having finalized celebrating Irreecha festival in Addis Ababa at Hora Finfine.
They are going to Bishoftu to be part of the Irreecha festival to be celebrated at Hora Arsadi in the town tomorrow October 6, 2024, which is expected to be attended by millions of people, bringing together many people from all corners of Oromia and the country.
The Oromo people describe the Irreecha festival as a “Thanksgiving holiday” whereby they offer praise to God for ending the rainy season and ushering them to the New Year.
