The Government Communication Service (GCS) says the government of Ethiopia is intensifying humanitarian aid to landslide victims in Gofa zone of southern Ethiopia region.
This came in at a press briefing held today where Government Communication Service State Minister Selamawit Kasa disclosed that government’s support to the victims will continue in a strengthened manner. To that end the government has established a national task force, providing humanitarian support to the victims.
Different nations across the world have been offering condolences and showing solidarity with the government and people of Ethiopia in the aftermath of the deadly incidents claiming the lives of many citizens.
Among them is the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government that has today provided 75 tons of humanitarian aid to the landslide victims in Gofa zone of Southern Ethiopia, it was learnt.
