The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said it will provide technical assistance to Ethiopia's WTO membership negotiations.
That came during a meeting between Ethiopian Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Kasahun Goffe, who is participating in the meeting of the BRICS Council of Ministers of Trade in Moscow, Russia, and UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
Minister Kassahun stated that they had a fruitful discussion on the way to increase trade between the two countries.
"The United Arab Emirates has promised to support us technically in the WTO membership negotiation process that our country is conducting," he said.
Indicating that a detailed joint plan has been drawn up in the discussion, Kassahun expressed gratitude for the promise made by the UAE, according to Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.
