Ethiopian Airlines remains steadfast to moving African air transport into more advanced and new heights as it commits to attain vision 2035.

Ethiopian Airlines, gate of African airspace to the rest of the world, with its   global impact has attracted Boeing to open its African Headquarters in Addis Ababa, proving the airlines’ ever-moving quality service.

CEO of the airlines, Mesfin Tassew, told EBC that Ethiopian is still on track to achieve all its vision by 2035, some of which have been already succeeded ahead of the timeframe.

The CEO said Ethiopian has made success stories becoming the leading airlines in the aviation industry.

“We are not shy of saying that Ethiopian is now hub to passengers in Africa,” Mesfin said on the strides the airlines has attained, explaining   the sense of belongingness African passengers craved toward the airlines, also known as The Spirit of Africa.

The CEO also detailed that the airline now has its own Aviation University –which he says has been upgraded after years of intensive flight training experiences. All along the years, the aviation training center has helped Ethiopian feed its own skilled human capital.

Mesfin further indicated that the center has attracted trainees from several African countries who traded know how and wisdoms of the aviation industry back to their respective countries, paving the way for African aviation industry to flourish.

Ethiopian Airlines, Mesfin disclosed, has hugely played in moving the advancement of African transport into the new height and will thrive on keeping track of its service of pushing Africa forward, he vowed.

The CEO added that the airline is foreseeing to pursue and double its service by 2035 - in both quality and scope, and of course has already achieved some of its plans ahead of its schedule.

The opening of Boeing’s African Headquarters in Addis Ababa shows the scale of service excellence Ethiopian has built, the CEO noted, explaining ranges of benefits it can offer to African air transport.
