Another landslide incident in S. West Ethiopia has killed three people and displaced 24.
A landslide caused by heavy rainfall in Decha, District, Kafa Zone, on 25 July resulted in three fatalities and displaced 24 residents, according to the Kafa Zone Communication Office.
Zonal administrator Endeshaw Kebede also sent condolences to the families of the victims.
The affected families have been relocated to government facilities due to the risk of further landslides.
Humanitarian assistance is being provided, and early warnings have been issued to the vulnerable ones.
