Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) said that the National Dialogue opens a great opportunity to build a better Ethiopia. The Prime Minister in his explanation stated that government has been making extensive efforts to alleviate existing and current problems that have arisen before and the aftermath of the reform.
The premier stated that to solve the sociopolitical and historical problems that arose in the past, the national dialogue could be a platform to consult and listen to each other and come to a common consensus. He added that this dialogue and consultation can bring about a result for a better future. And, to resolve the issues of the past, transitional justice plays its biggest part. Following this, he believed that consultation and discussion are necessary to solve old social, political and historical problems and created favorable compromises, he said.
