Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has paid a visit to the ongoing construction of a 30-kilometer corridor in Jigjiga city.
The visit highlighted Jigjiga's significant potential to become a major urban center.
Information from the Prime Minister's Office indicates that during his visit, PM Abiy inspected the first phase of the corridor project, covering 10 kilometers.
In addition, Premier Abiy inspected JETOUR vehicle assembly factory for the domestic market in Jigjiga.
The factory, which can assemble 10 vehicles per day, sits on 22,000 square meters of land according to the office of the Prime Minister.
