Ethiopia Pledges Stronger Health Sector Through Innovation, Says Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba

Ethiopia's Minister of Health, Dr. Mekdes Daba, has announced a strong commitment to improving the nation's health sector through the robust implementation of innovative practices. Her remarks came as the International Health Innovation and Quality Summit, a three-day event held in Addis Ababa under the theme "Innovation for Universal Health Coverage," concluded.

During her address at the summit, Dr. Mekdes highlighted that the discussions significantly focused on people-centered approaches, leading to the emergence of "excellent ideas" within the health sector. She noted that the forum successfully generated crucial and problem-solving concepts specifically tailored to benefit healthcare in Ethiopia.
