Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has announced the commencement of the sixth edition of the All Ethiopia Games in the historic city of Jimma.
Arriving in the city, Temesgen lauded Jimma as a vital crossroads where Ethiopians have converged for centuries, fostering trade, cultural exchange, religious harmony, and education.
“We have arrived in Jimma, a city where Ethiopians from all four corners of the world have met. We will kick off the sixth edition of the All Ethiopia Games in our historic city,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
He expressed his gratitude to federal and Oromia regional state leaders, along with the residents of Jimma, for their warm welcome.
The games are expected to draw athletes and spectators from across the country, celebrating Ethiopian unity and athletic achievement.
