The Ministry of Women and Social Affairs announced that 89,482 Ethiopians have been repatriated from Saudi Arabia since April 2016. Yesterday, an additional 309 Ethiopians in distress were returned.
The ministry is providing support, care, and reintegration services to the returnees, including transportation and assistance at reception centers to help them reconnect with their families.
In total, the ongoing repatriation effort has brought home 89,482 Ethiopians since April 2016, reported ENA.
