The World Health Organization has announced that more than 1.8 billion people in the world are at risk of not doing enough physical activity.
According to a study conducted by the World Health Organization, a third or 31 percent of the world's population is suffering from diseases due to lack of physical activity. He also stressed that adults should maintain their health by doing light physical activity.
According to Dr. Tewodoros Adhanom, Director General of the World Health Organization, it is possible to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer by doing 75 minutes to 150 minutes of physical activity daily.
The study has found that lack of physical activity is also highest in high-income regions of Asia Pacific, South Asia and Oceania. It has been pointed out that if works are not done to encourage and increase the habit of doing enough exercises, the population who do not exercise may show a significant rise from 31 percent to 35 percent by 2030.
