The Council of Ministers today approved two draft regulations concerning service fees for government institutions and ratified an Air Transport Agreement with Austria during its 44th regular meeting.
The first two draft regulations pertain to determining service fees charged by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the F.D.R.E Civil Society Organizations Authority. The objective is to enable these institutions to cover their operating costs, increase revenue, and improve the quality of services provided while considering the capacity of customers. The Council unanimously decided that these regulations will take effect upon their publication in the Negarit Gazeta.
In international relations, the Council also discussed and approved a draft proclamation for the ratification of the Air Transport Agreement signed with the Government of Austria. The agreement is expected to strengthen bilateral ties, create new market opportunities for the national airline, boost trade and investment, support foreign trade, expand tourism, generate jobs, and contribute to foreign currency earnings. The draft proclamation for this agreement will now be sent to the House of Peoples' Representatives for ratification.
