Ethiopian-Born Republican Party Candidate, Michael Yadeta, is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Maryland's 8th Congressional District.

Yadeta was born in Ethiopia and grew up in Maryland. He earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 2012 and his master's degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2019.

His professional experience includes owning a civil engineering project management firm.

While Yadeta is on the ballot in the Republican primary on May 14, 2024, he shows a strong desire to be voice for his districts, stop foreign aid spending and help America first.

Yadeta, who is well known for his organizing the community in his district in Maryland also vows to strenuously work for the present change of the education policy.

He said he will strive to avoid the delays at the immigration bureau, speed up the responses to requests of asylum seekers who legally enter the U.S. and help them immediately get work permit.

Yadeta also pledged to fight to bring significant changes beginning from policy level to the community.
