Ethiopian President, Sahle-Work Zewde said Ethiopia and Angola have built multilevel ties since the beginning of the liberation struggle for Angola’s independence.
The president had talks with her Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, in Luanda, Angola.
Their discussion mainly focused on reviewing their longstanding and strong relations in bilateral and continental areas of common interest.
President Sahle-Work also said both nations continue to expand their historical relations.
The presidents held the courtesy meeting in sideline of the 3rd Luanda Biennale – Pan-African Forum for Culture of Peace, which they are taking part in.
The forum, which happens every two years in Luanda, Angola, is organized by the African Union, Angolan Government and UNESCO.
It majorly focuses on promoting violence prevention and employing sound conflict resolution mechanisms, by encouraging cultural exchanges in Africa.
