On Wednesday, a significant cooperation agreement has been signed between the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) and the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange, marking a pivotal moment in trade relations between the two nations.
The signing ceremony, held in Addis Ababa, was supported by the Russian Embassy and the Russian Trade Mission in Ethiopia, underscoring the importance of this partnership.
The agreement aims to enhance trade cooperation and facilitate the exchange of commodities, potentially boosting Ethiopia's agricultural exports and increasing market access for Russian goods.
Officials from both sides expressed optimism about the agreement’s potential to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities in Ethiopia.
