The Ethiopian Rehabilitation Commission called on stakes to do their level best in the nation’s rehabilitation and reintegration efforts.
Teshome Toga, a seasoned diplomat, who now sits at the helm of the Commission, said parties need to play roles for the imitative to take shape, paving ways for reintegration of ex-combatants with their respective destinations and field of engagements.
Teshome further underlined that tasks of introducing the commission with expertise and relevant facilities have been accomplished, adding that ex-combatants have been screened out through platforms.
Ahead of launching the actual works of the reintegration, all the 371 thousand ex - combatants would go through another, round of verification, Teshome indicated.
He urged stakeholders to join efforts to further rehabilitate disbanded combatants.
He stressed that helping ex-combatants join respective communities would constructively play roles for sustained peace and economic growth.//
