Lieutenant General Solomon Etefa announced that the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) is undergoing training designed to address the dynamic security challenges in the region.
The Southern Command's 205th Corps of the ENDF recently graduated the first round of its capacity-building trainees.
During the graduation ceremony, Lieutenant General Solomon Etefa, Chief Commander of the Southern Command, stated that the national defense force is being developed through training that will enable it to prevent evolving security problems in the region.
Lieutenant General Solomon Etefa also noted that the army is undertaking various missions to enhance its capabilities while simultaneously receiving essential training.
Colonel Girma Ayele, Chief Commander of the 205th Corps within the Southern Command, added that the army had previously been thwarting "Shene's" activities in the area, and that this training will prepare them for even greater missions.
Leaders and members of the corps at various levels participated in the training program.
