Sudan's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday said that the African initiative is the basis upon which Sudan is working to find a settlement for the country's political crisis.
Omer Dahab, under-secretary of Sudan's Foreign Ministry, stressed at a press conference in Khartoum the importance of uniting multiple initiatives to seek to find a settlement for the current political crisis.
He further reiterated keenness of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) to achieve stability in the country, which is the reason why the council has welcomed all the initiatives.
The TMC is tasked with running the country's affairs after the ousting of former President Omar al-Bashir on April 11.
