The National Rehabilitation Commission announced that 3,502 former militants who completed rehabilitation training have rejoined society.
The commission held a meeting in Axum city on the implementation of the rehabilitation process in Tigray region, the challenges faced and the areas of focus.
It was announced at the forum that the reintegration of former militants who completed rehabilitation training in the regional center of Edaga and Mekelle city has already begun.
The Deputy Commissioner of the Commission, Brigadier General Derbe Mekuria indicated that the work of demobilizing and reintegrating former fighters into society will begin in the Adwa center.
