Former deputy president of the Federal Supreme Court, Solomon Areda, has been sworn in as a half-time judge of the United Nations Dispute Tribunal.
It is to be recalled that Solomon was appointed to the position by the United Nations General Assembly in its session held in New York on November 15, 2022.
Accordingly Solomon was sworn in at the United Nations headquarters in New York last week before starting his new job.
The ceremony was administered by his Excellency Mr. Antonio Gutierrez, Secretary General of the United Nations.
