Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie announced the inauguration of Ethiopia's first Center of Excellence for Pediatric Neurosurgery and Orthopedics at Zewditu Memorial Hospital. The center will provide services to over 5,000 children annually.
Mayor Adanech highlighted the center's significant contribution to Ethiopian children's health and its role in supporting the city's efforts to become a leading African city for child development.
She also noted the city administration's ongoing commitment to meeting the growing demand for healthcare services and driving fundamental improvements in the health sector. Finally, she expressed gratitude to the ReachAnother Foundation for its contribution to the center's construction.
