The Ethiopian National Defense Force's Commando and Airborne Command has graduated a new cohort of Special Forces and Counter-Terrorism units.
The graduation ceremony was attended by senior military officials, including Field Marshal Birhanu Jula, the Chief of General Staff of the Ethiopian Armed Forces.
The Special Forces and Counterterrorism Training School, operating under the Commando and Airborne Divisions, celebrated the graduation of its 12th batch of trainees, nicknamed "The Hunters."
The graduates were selected from various divisions of the Command based on their performance in duty execution and discipline. They successfully completed a rigorous training program designed to prepare them for challenging missions.
Officials stated that the graduates have received comprehensive training that enables them to carry out assignments both domestically and internationally, either individually or as part of a team.
The ceremony featured various military demonstrations performed by the graduating Special Forces and Counter-Terrorism members.
According to information obtained from the Defense Force, this graduation marks another milestone in Ethiopia's efforts to strengthen its specialized military capabilities and enhance its counter-terrorism readiness.
