The Ethiopian Olympic team, which participated at the Paris Olympics, returned to Addis Ababa this morning. The team was warmly welcomed upon their arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
A ceremony is scheduled for later today at the National Palace, where President Sahle-Work Zewde will honor the athletes. The event will feature an awards presentation, a reception, and a celebratory dinner in recognition of the team’s accomplishments.
Ethiopia concluded the 33rd Paris Olympics with a total of four medals: one gold and three silver, securing 47th place globally and 4th place among African nations.
