It has been stated that Ethiopian Airlines has finished preparations to resume direct flight from Kombolcha - Bahir Dar. Ato Solomon Abebe, Head of Kombolcha Airport Operations at the Airline; has recalled that the flight from Kombolcha to Bahr Dar and from Bahr Dar to Kombolcha was suspended. However, upon frequent requests from passengers to resume the flight, the Airline has announced that it will restart the flight every day from July 20, 2024.
He pointed out that the start of the flight will prevent the passengers from enduring the long journey to Addis Ababa to go from Kombolcha to Bahr Dar and from Bahr Dar to Kombolcha. He stated that this will reduce abuse of users and additional costs. He also said that Customers can travel directly from Kombolcha to Bahr Dar and from Bahr Dar to Kombolcha starting from July 20, 2024.Kombolcha Airport has 6 regular flights a day to Addis Ababa; ENA reports that it will make more than 6 flights as needed.
