The Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority has granted patent rights to the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute for four AI-based techs the institute developed.
According to Ethiopian AI Institute, the four inventions are a tech that identifies skin illness in children, a tech that sorts out a type of diabetes, another one which detects breast cancer and the last one an AI system developed to identify the type of coffee plant leave disease.
