Speaker of Ethiopian House of Peoples Representatives Tagese Chafo said the support “we give to the National Dialogue Commission (ENDC) will leave a mark on our nation building efforts, so we will assist the process working in coordination with the commission.
The Speaker said the pledge after listening to ENDC performance report. Tagese pointed out ENDC’s effort to maintain lasting peace by overcoming challenges it faced.
The speaker said that it is necessary to solve problems at the national level together.
He stated that the government needs to fulfill its promise to the people of the Ethiopia by consulting with the various government structures and the security forces, as well as working together with other institutions that can provide support, so that everyone can work in compliance with the commission.
So far, ENDC has undertaken a lot of preliminary preparation and participation activities nationwide, ENDC Commissioner Prof. Mesfen Araya said.
