Elite athletes Kemal Husen and Sorome Negash have won the 2023 Irish Life Dublin Marathon.
Kemal from Ethiopia completed the men’s race in two hours and six minutes and fifty-two second a new course record for the marathon.
Sorome, also from Ethiopia, won the women’s race in two hours and twenty-six minutes and twenty-two seconds.
Over 22,000 people took part in the 43rd annual Irish Life Dublin Marathon.
Joan Kipyatich of Kenya completed the women’s race in two hours, twenty-seven minutes and four seconds, while Genet Habela of Ethiopia came third with two hours, twenty-seven minutes and forty-nine seconds, Newstalk reported.
