CAF President Arrives In Addis For the 46th General Assembly.

 The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Motsepe, has arrived at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to participate in the 46th CAF General Assembly.  Upon his arrival the president warmly welcomed by FDRE Foreign Minister Dr. Gedeon Timotios, Minister of Culture and Sports Shewit Shanka, and other senior Government Officials.

In an exclusive interview with EBC World, CAF president said he is thrilled for coming to the Land of Origins; Ethiopia, to take part on the 46th Ordinary Assembly as well conferring on mutual topics. The President mentioned Ethiopia’s role for the realization of CAF which is beyond Sport Diplomacy. He reaffirmed that CAF will do closely with Ethiopian concerned bodies on ways of scaling up Ethiopia football.

The 46th CAF General Assembly is being hosted by Ethiopia, marking a notable occasion in the country’s football history. The arrival of these officials highlights the importance of this assembly for African football, as it serves as a platform for discussing key decisions and policies that will shape the future of the sport on the continent.
