Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and other CAF officials have paid a visit to the Adwa Victory Monument, a powerful symbol of Ethiopia's historic victory over Italian colonial forces and a source of pride for all Africans.

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abbebe highlighted the city's increasing influence and its growing popularity as a tourist destination. She emphasized that ongoing efforts to establish Addis Ababa as a clean, beautiful, and comfortable city for both residents and conference tourism are bearing fruit.

Mayor Adanch emphasized Ethiopia's significant role in the establishment of CAF and its ongoing efforts to enhance Africa's presence on the global football stage. Ethiopia has played a pivotal role in uniting Africans, amplifying their voices, and fostering African brotherhood, leaving an indelible mark on history.

She concluded her message on social media by urging Addis Ababa residents to extend their warm Ethiopian hospitality to the CAF delegation, wishing them a pleasant and successful stay in the city.
