Ethiopian former Foreign Minster Taye Atske Selassie, who was appointed as Ethiopian President, has warmly welcomed the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed, along with their high-ranking entourage to Ethiopia.
President Taye stated that he was pleased to have received Guterres and his high-ranking delegation at Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon. They talked about a range of regional and multilateral issues as well as international cooperation in handling global challenges.
Notably, dignitaries from all over the continent will be present this evening when UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres opens the UNECA modernized hall.
