Addis Ababa hosts Innovation Africa 2025, focusing on the continent's digital future and youth employment.
Ethiopian Innovation and Technology Minister, Belete Mola (PhD), stressed the crucial role of technology and the digital sector in creating job opportunities for young Africans.
"The future of employment for young Africans depends on technology and the digital sector," stated Minister Belete, highlighting the importance of this growing field.
Ethiopia, through public and private sector collaboration, is making strides in technological innovation and startups, according to Dr. Belete.
The forum, coordinated by the Ministries of Innovation and Technology, Education, and Labor and Skills, brings together ministers from across Africa to discuss digital advancements, education, information communication technology, and capacity building.
It was noted that the goal is to boost Africa's digital economy and create a pathway to prosperity for its youth.
