Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh and officials of the agricultural sector in the State of Amhara put their heads together about ways of boosting agricultural productivity and competitiveness.
Also attended by other stakes, the meeting dwelt at length on alternative ways of substantially boosting the nation's economic growth aspirations.
Temesegen praised the State of Amhara for being endowed with plenty of prospects for growth and development, which could go a long way to quench rising demand for bountiful harvest.
DPM Tiruneh stipulated the development of crops, livestock, and natural resources as some of the blessings in the State, emphasizing that they he and stakes had fruitful discussions.
He finally urged the stakeholders and leaders to strive more diligently towards prosperity and agricultural competitiveness.//
