The East African Standby Force (EASF) has hailed Ethiopia for its role the in stabilizing the region and maintaining peace as member of the regional force, reported EBC Amharic earlier this afternoon
EASF Director, Brig. Gen. Paul Kahuria Njema, appreciated Ethiopia’s exceling regional contribution in creating durable peace and security across the entire region.
Military officers and several other personnel picked from the bureau of the standby force in Nairobi Kenya visited the motorized regiment, which has contributed as members of the regional standby forces.
Ethiopia has hugely contributed capable and professional troops to the regional force, the EASF director said after his visit to barracks of the Ethiopian motorized regiment.
The director also noted that Ethiopia is boldly known for its regional peace-keeping mission and defending security with giant military experiences and combat -proven wisdom.
