Ethiopia and the United Kingdom have signed an investment agreement worth nearly $600 million. The agreement, signed in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh and UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, will enable integrated crop development and dairy processing and trade in the agricultural sector.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by representatives of the Ethiopian Investment Holding, the Agricultural Development Corporation, and the UK's Asset Green PLC.The agreement is expected to play a significant role in modernizing the agricultural sector, increasing productivity, and creating job opportunities for thousands of citizens.
