46th CAF General Assembly Opens in Addis Ababa

The 46th Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has commenced at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.

The assembly is attended by a distinguished group of individuals, including the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Taye Atske Selassie, CAF President Patrice Motsepe, members of the CAF Executive Committee, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Secretary General Matthias Grafström, football federations from CAF member countries, presidents of regional football associations, and other stakeholders in the sport.

The assembly is expected to deliberate on the development of football in Africa.

Meanwhile,

Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has stated that the 46th Ordinary General Assembly of CAF being held in Ethiopia will be a catalyst for the revival of Ethiopian football.

The Deputy Prime Minister said, "Football stars who have graced the world stage will be present in our capital for this assembly." Information from the Deputy Prime Minister's page indicates that he wishes for the assembly to be a success.
