Various Chinese investors who have arrived in Addis Ababa today said they are keen to engage in agricultural technology and business sectors in Ethiopia.
The Chinese investors and top brass of the Ethiopian Investment Commission put their heads together on Increased foreign direct investment as well as frameworks and investment possibilities in Ethiopia.
Delegation members under the thumb of Zhuang Jianrong, Director of Foreign Economy & Trade of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, spoke highly of Ethiopia being a preferred investment destination for Chinese investors.
The Ethiopian Investment Commission has announced that it will work closely with the Beijing Commercial Municipal Office to beef up bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
For his part, delegation leader Jianrong pointed out that Ethiopia has a potential for investment adding that his delegation has a keen interest in investing in various fields, including agricultural technology and commercial sectors.//
