"Africa Celebrates 2024" to Take Place in November

Legendary Gold Limited, alongside its Ethiopian partner Mayalz Events, has unveiled plans for the highly anticipated "Africa Celebrates 2024." Organized in collaboration with the African Union Commission, UNECA, and Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this prestigious Pan-African event is designed to promote continental integration through arts, education, culture, and technology, with a focus on advancing Africa's prosperity and development.

Scheduled to take place in Addis Ababa from November 6 to 10, 2024, "Africa Celebrates 2024" will be a vibrant celebration of African heritage, focusing on the theme: "Educating an African Fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Awareness Systems through African Arts, Culture, Heritage, and Technology for the Integration and Prosperity of Africa."

Speaking to EBC World, Lexy Mojo-Eyes, CEO and President of Legendary Gold Limited, highlighted the significance of the event, stating that it will provide a unique platform for Africans from all corners of the continent to connect. "Africa Celebrates 2024 will also offer an opportunity to showcase Africa’s rich cultural diversity and strengthen trade connections among African countries and beyond," Mojo-Eyes added.

Eyaeal Tamirat, CEO of Mayalz Events and Marketing, further elaborated on the event’s scale, noting that it will bring together representatives from over 40 countries and thousands of participants. The six-day celebration promises a wide range of activities promoting African unity and progress.

Deputy Chief of the United States Mission to the African Union, Mikaeal Cleverley, also expressed his support for the event. He emphasized the importance of fostering people-to-people connections across the continent and reiterated his organization's commitment to supporting the success of "Africa Celebrates 2024."

The event is set to promote African unity in diversity while encouraging economic prosperity through the arts, culture, heritage, technology, and business. Moreover, it will underscore the role of resilient awareness systems in advancing Africa's integration and development.
