“Ethiopia has maintained its sovereignty and never invaded another country throughout its history,” said Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Ethiopia is marking Sovereignty Day Sunday nationwide with high public mobilization.
“The name Ethiopia has long been associated with honor, excellence, and freedom,” the Premier said on a social media post Sunday.
“Ethiopia has always defended itself against those who threatened its sovereignty,” he said and stressed that the united efforts of Ethiopians will ensure the sustenance of defending the nations sovereignty.
