New Company Set to Revolutionize Strawberry, Saffron Exports

A groundbreaking venture is on the horizon as African Farming Industries prepares to launch operations focused on the modern production and export of strawberries and saffron, backed by a substantial investment of $2 million.

This innovative company will set up shop in the Special Economic Zone, aiming to position Ethiopia as a leading player in the global market for these lucrative crops.

The pivotal moment came when African Farming Industries signed a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, formalized by the CEOs of both organizations, Fisseha Yitagesu (PhD) and Nasur Mahamat.

This partnership promises to bring a fresh approach to agricultural exports in Ethiopia, with Fisseha emphasizing the unique nature of the proposal and the corporation's commitment to providing necessary support.

Taking over 5,000 square meters of cultivated land and 3,000 square meters of sheds at Bole Lemi Industrial Park, African Farming Industries is poised to make a significant impact on the local economy while tapping into the growing demand for high-quality strawberries and saffron worldwide.
