Ethiopia has declared Friday a three-day national mourning.
The country’s House of People's Representatives announced Friday afternoon that it passed a decision to declare a three-day national mourning in remembrance of the people who were killed in the tragic landslide in the Gofa Zone, Geze District in South Ethiopia.
The national mourning will be effective as of Saturday 27th of July 2024.
