Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed deep condolences over the death of Ethiopians due to tragic landslide in Gofa Zone, South Ethiopia.
“Dear Mrs. President,
Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
Please accept my deepest condolences in connection with the tragic consequences of landslides in the South of your country.
Please convey words of sincere sympathy and support to the families of victims as well as wishes for a quick recovery to all injured,” reads the president’s message, according to the Russian Embassy in Addis Ababa.
