Ethiopian Erecting Five More Domestic Airports

Africa’s biggest airliner, the Ethiopian Airlines Group, is building 5 more domestic airports, its Chief Executive Officer disclosed.

Mesfin Tasew said the airliner is in the midst of massive domestic and international destinations expansion.

Saying that the Star Alliance member now is flying more planes, Tassew underlined that this helps the airliner successfully stretch its wings to 136 international and 22 domestic destinations.

Mizan Tepi, Negele Borena, Yabelo, Gore, Mettu and Debre Markos are the places where selected by Ethiopian for terminal expansion.

The national flag carrier expects to complete the erection of terminal facilities in these four towns within one year, Tasew said.

This is in accordance with the needs of customers, according to the CEO of the fastest growing airlines brand in the globe.
