Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Gedion Timothewos, has met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad and the outgoing Chairperson of the Executive Council of the African Union, Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, and this morning on the margins of the 38th AU Summit.
During the sideline meeting, Dr. Gedion congratulated the outgoing Chair on the successful completion of his dedicated chairmanship in the service of the Continent.
The Ministers discussed bilateral issues of mutual interest to further enhance economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
They also agreed to further cooperate on continental and other shared multilateral agenda.
