This contribution, alongside a $200 million pledge from the United Arab Emirates, was announced at a high-level conference attended by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and other international leaders. The conference highlighted the urgent need for assistance for over 30 million Sudanese affected by the conflict, urging a Ramadan ceasefire to facilitate aid delivery.
