Bishoftu, home to the Seven Lakes, is undergoing a comprehensive corridor development project, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has announced.
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that this integrated corridor development project will significantly improve the city's appearance, modernize it, and enhance the lives of its people.
He indicated that development and smart city initiatives are underway to leverage the city's abundant natural resources. These projects, he added, will significantly boost Bishoftu's domestic and international tourism.
"We have full confidence that the development projects will be completed and ready for service in a short time, thanks to the tireless efforts of the city administration and project staff," the Deputy Prime Minister posted on his social media page.
The government has pledged to continue strengthening its efforts to make cities attractive service centers and comfortable living spaces, characterized by green beauty and modern surveillance systems.
