The Asia-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry is looking to collaborate with Ethiopia in the fields of innovation and technology.
The Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla held discussions with the Council’s officials.
The Minister stated that Ethiopia is committed to making digital transformation, innovation and sustainable technology solutions, which he says are the pillars of the country’s growth strategy.
He indicated that he is working with local and international stakeholders to create a strong creative ecosystem.
He also highlighted the importance of working with partners like the Council to realize the work that has been started to make Ethiopia a leader in technological development in the region.
Chairman of the Asia-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. GD Singh, for his part, indicated that the Council is interested in working with Ethiopia in the field.
Information from the ministry shows that he wants to focus on startup development, technology transfer, human resource development, and business activities in the sector.
